Today is the day for many of you to tell the kids to have a good day at school. Some of you may have taken them to college and hugged them tight before driving back home while they settled into a dorm or apartment. These days can be emotional, even if everyone is excited about the new school year starting. For myself, my daughter chose to stay here and go to OTC. My son, 22, made a decision to move to Las Vegas next month! It's a good choice for him, and I am happy about it but it's so far away and I miss him already. Such is this season in my life-happy and sad moments. To the moms that are driving kids to activities and it feels like you barely have time to do anything else but run them all over, take care of the house chores, cook dinner...it goes so fast. Time is funny like that. What is the saying, the days are long but the years are short? This resonates with me. I miss them being little, but I love the talks we have these days. There is something special about each stage of raising children I find. Some of you that don't have kids may be an aunt, or uncle or close to a family with kids that you love. All this to say, each season in life can bring its new delights and challenges. Find your support team and whatever it is that brings you stress relief. Meditate, journal, exercise, talk to a friend, reading and prayer are some ways for me to find peace in the midst of the different seasons life brings.
In other news, the Tuesday 4pm class is now at 4:30pm. This will allow time for teachers and other moms to pick up kidos from school and get over to Fenix. The next Fenix on the field at the 14 Mill Market is Saturday, September 16th at 9am. It is a lot of fun and a great way to meet new friends! (only $10 for members) The Mill provides free mimosas or soft drinks after the class.
Have a great day everyone and I look forward to seeing you on your mat soon!
